Eva was my beautiful friend—a soul whose kindness, warmth, and light touched countless lives. She was so deeply loved that nearly half of the Deaf community around the world knew and cherished her. Her passing was a heartbreaking loss, not only for those closest to her but for an entire community that continues to honor and celebrate her memory.

In a poignant coincidence, Eva passed away on the birthday of another dear friend of mine who had also passed. Both of these incredible women brought immense love and joy into the lives of others, and they continue to be remembered with deep affection.

Evia is named in honor of both Eva and her unborn daughter, Sophia. By blending their names into one, Evia represents their unbreakable bond and the beautiful future they dreamed of together. This candle is a tribute to love that never fades, hope that continues to inspire, and the lasting legacy they leave behind.
