A Deaf × Deaf collaboration: DTMELTS × Trace Essence

Trick or DTRACE is more than a candle—it’s a one-of-a-kind collaboration celebrating Deaf artistry, creativity, and the Deaf ecosystem.

Each glass vessel is individually handblown by Deaf glass artist Daniel Taylor of DTMELTS, then hand-poured by Trace Essence with natural soy wax and transformed into a spooky Halloween candle. Because every vessel is handmade, no two are exactly alike. 

The Scent: a dark, enchanting blend of rich berries, warm amber, dark florals, earthy woods, smoky musk, and mysterious nighttime notes. Deep, slightly sweet, and hauntingly cozy—the perfect scent for spooky season.

Topped with: black stone chips, candy corn wax embeds, a mini glass pumpkin, and candle-friendly glitter.
